Any other recommendations are welcome as well.

The reason that 3 of those subs are Memphis is because I used to run two 15" memphis power reference series subs and I loved them - and that's pretty much the lowest series of memphis subs.

Also, I am still deciding between ported or sealed but my primary concern is hitting the low notes so I'll prolly end up building a low tuned ported box.

Not looking to spend more than $300 for the sub.

Thanks for any suggestions!

ill throw my vote in for the JL W3v3. I just put one in my car 12" in a ported box. I cant believe how nice it sounds off the 500.1 amp. Sounds like the w6v2 i had last year. Couldnt be more pleased.

The C3104D is a beefy new version of the M3104D (discontinued the M3). The M3 and C3 series are 2 steps above the Power Reference series. Both are good subs. You can also take a look at the Kicker Solobaric L7. I would go with the M3, C3, or L7.

Street Edge, Power Reference, M-Class, M3, C3, Mojo

& now I believe Memphis even carries a shallow mount sub.
