I'd get the 10 and go a little smaller than .9ft. The 12 needs 1.2ish or more.

Maybe some of the more experienced installers can chime in on what is a nice size for the 10.

My budget is like $500 for the subs. I'm thinking of just raising up the rear bench in my truck so I can fit some RLps back there.
