I would just go with those. Seem to be in your price range. I am just playing but those are deff. the most expensive components i have ever seen.

10 yrs ago people were running 20k b and w speakers and 4k each woofers. earl zalsmer (spell check) price doesnt really dictate too much

You said $150 right? And if your dead set on using the stock speaker location then you going to lose most of the imaging aspects you get from comps. So you might find some high end coaxials. I dont know if there are any decent coaxials out there that would be better than your bose system cause Ive never heard any bose. But youre going to have to go used to get good comps.
