I dont think i have any car audio shops around here. So i was wondering if there are any other places to get wires besides online or online would be the cheapest place? And wut excatly are the rca wires for?

Three of the cheapest and most trustworthy online sources that I know of.

RCA wires are what transfer the source signal from your head unit to your amps, crossovers, EQs, or whatever else you have in the signal chain.

They're insanely cheap, have their own credit card processing, so no paypal required, and fast shipping.

I got 50' of 1/0 gauge cable for $76, 14 0 gauge set-screw ring terminals for $3 a piece, 0 to 4 gauge distribution blocks for $5 a piece, positive and negative 3-screw battery terminals for $6, a few other things i can't remember. i bought it monday afternoon, and i got my tracking number in an e-mail today, and it already says 'in transit/on time'

if i knew you could get this stuff that cheap individually, i never would have bought a wiring kit, i got exactly the stuff i wanted, and for way less than a kit

Well, what are you installing, what kinda vehicle do you drive, where are installing what gear? There are too many variables to be able to give you a blanket answer.

They've got a 2-gauge wiring kit for $20.

You could just buy some better rca's to go with it, those wiring kits usually come with embarassingly bad rca's.

search for 'amp kit'

'wiring kit' comes up with a bunch of crazy stuff

20 ft kit should take care of it just take measurements from the battery post to the trunk and leave like 2 or 3 foot for slack under carpets and such

and the 1/0 gauge ring terminals. It doesn't even say what size they are, i had to look at the part numbers to figure out which size was which, the last digit in the part # is a 1, there was a ....8, .....4, ....2, and a ....1 for the diff. sizes. Good price, tho.

They also have a 4 gauge kit, and an 8 gauge kit, but you have to search for "install kit" rather than "amp kit" or "wiring kit" hahaha.

that i don't know,

i did a search on the metra brand, and all i found is that it's the same as tsunami, but that still didn't tell me anything
