where to get old rf punch 75hd amp repaird ?

got this little punch 75 localy - it powers on - and plays left channel exactly as its suposed to - right channel gain does not work - and only plays at lo volume.

it plays bridged also - but I dont believe gain works for bridged.

uppon inspection - this seems to be the problem.

so who would take in this amp for testing / fixing ?

I read on caco that dbr does NOT wish to fix anymore rockford amps at all

so I havent even asked him.

any suguestions / and estimate on price to fix ?

IS IT EVEN WORTH FIXING ?

There's a local guy who knows RF HD amps very well, but he is pretty crazy w/ his pricing.

probably just a bad gain pot. just try to find a suitable replacement

might can find that whole board somewhere cheap, & just solder it on.

If it wasn't the HD model, I would say check the 4 very small internal fuses.

Hi. I am new to the forum, but saw the pics of your punch 75 and had to reply. Those pics look eerily like the inside of my punch 150HD, as far as the damage goes-same board right next to the RCA inputs. I have 2 150HDs that I recently pulled out of storage, hoping to revive one of them. On one of my amps, the two little can-like components on that board came off with only a slight touch, and on the other amp one of those did the same. Mine both have similar hot spots on that board too.

Both of my amps were awesome when I used them last with 2 punch 12" subs each in vented 2.75 cubic ft enclosures. I got rid of the car but couldn't part with the audio system. I had put it all together myself. I never realized one of my subs locked up from voice coil meltdown before I tore it all out. By that point, I had mellowed out a bit in my music volume level. Before that, I had too much drive time in unpopulated areas (long drive to work) to keep from cranking it. I used the 150HDs one on each sub and a PPI-built Crutchfield 4-ch amp on front/rear component sets. Now I want to put one of the 150HDs in service on a single new 12" sub and I am finding the disappointment that years of hard service followed by years of storage play on car audio electronics.
