where to get alternator for an s600?

actually they do, maybe not as far as creature comforts but overall quality and design BMW is superior. i worked @ a dealership for a while and the service ratio (bmw vs. benz) was crazy the service lot was full of mercedes but very few BMWs. theyre both very nice though.

yeah.. tell that to the new owner of that lemon *** beemer we just got rid off.. no thanks. wont buy anything witht eh bmw logo anymore.. junk

U should be fine if its a small SQ system. The S600's seem to run some pretty powerful stock systems, if u take out the electrical from the stock system it should be more then enough to power ur amps. I really hate the stock speaker placement on the S600s tho.

in the 2 S600s we have (95, and a 98) the staging is set real low (about below chest level) the imaging isn't too bad, but unless it was ment for my legs to hear the system i think it's really bad. It looks like all the frequencies are being played from the bottom part of the door (cept the substage). If i remeber correctly its a 12-speaker BOSE system. I'm pretty sure the front stage is a 3" almost fullrange driver paired with a 6.5" midbass driver. I could be wrong about that, but either way it sounds like complete crap. Ur system is probably completely different since both the cars we own are under the W140 generation, I think they switched to harmon/Kandom(sp?) after 98 and I think that system uses 14-speakers too

those are the older styles though man.. this is the newer style yes its 14 speaker system
