Where to fuse power cables?

with a 50A fuse near the battery it should work fine.

I got a 40A fuse....is that close enough?

How is it dangerous, the amp is made to do that, its a usamp400x. Do I run any risks by doing this?

I thoght you were planning on running the power out of the input as well as in. Didn't know what amp you had.

O, i see....actually tho, I was planning on doing that w/ my remote wire. Is that bad?

Should work.

Worst thing that can happen is it will blow when you're blasting it. If it does you'll know you need to go to 50A.
