where should i install video

i drive a 2000 acura tl, i was lookin to put video in it but im kinda new at it. any suggestions on where to install? flip down, on the dash, etc.? if i do install any of these, are they legal and if not is there a good way to install so the police cant really see it? also can i get estimates on how much it would end up costing? i have the factory system and gettin an aftermarket hu would not be worth what i would have to pay for the install so that cant really change. thanks for the help.

if ur worried about legality u can always get a fold out screen, some aftermarket HUs have them
