I thought they wouldn't sell them any more. even if you had DD subs you had to send them in to DD to get them reconed. Am I wrong?

a buddy of mine has a blown DD sub, contacted them about a recone kit and he was told that he has to provide them with pictures to verify the model. just my 2 cents

Jacob is a busy man and I didn't want to bother him with it, and he suggested fi also. I am looking to be a little different at the end of the day, not jsut building the same old knockoff.

Yes, because looks are what make a good sub. you are such a faggot. at any rate-contact PAP (http://www.pierceaudioproducts.com) they will build what you want, and they have a variety of cone choices.

If I am going to take the time to build a sub, I would rather it look good than like a big turd. I think it has been proven time and time again that even with DD subs that have been reconed, if the glue on the dust cap is messy it is thought that the recone was crappy.
