what do you lose? like lets say i bridge my 2 channel to run both my mids up front. will i only lose left and right balancing? i might run my new mids like this but wanna make sure i still have all of my active capabilities. so what do i lose and can you still run active with it bridged? help is appreciated

You will lose the ability to independently adjust their levels (L/R balancing), the ability to time align the drivers independently (important to imaging), the ability to equalize the left and right sides independently (the H701 offers this capability, again important to imaging).....and you lose stereo sound for the mids, which would probably be the most important loss depending on the bandwidth the drivers are playing.

The only real capability the H701 offers that you would keep is the active crossover function. You'd be sacrificing everything else for little to no gain by bridging.
