If they're giving 'em away I'd be more than happy to audition a sub or three from them. Otherwise I can't see that I'll make any major system changes anytime soon.

I would love to hear them, but I won't go and buy anything without either reading many good reviews or hearing it personally. Same with any line, I don't see how people can be so intent on buying a new XXX when ALL they have is a picture, not even a solid price yet. Confuses the hell out of me.

I wanted a tempest for awhile, they were cheap, and I liked the reviews they were getting... I think I'd like to try those out, ecspecially because they are the SPL subs they have now...

You're forgetting none of them can touch the Parthenon as far as linear displacement is concerned. Between 4" and 6" of linear one way excursion and a cone diameter of up to 48" could potentially hand several 15"/18" versions of any of those their *** on a platter. Installing something that big would be a *****, though. =p

I am seriously considering a Brahma III or Tumult depending on the price. There would be a much better chance for Adire if the line comes out before the new RE XXX and the old XXX (which I nicknamed the XX) comes out.

It also depends on how much I can get a Mag D2 for.
