Wheel Help - Offsets and Shit

I am looking at some wheels for the new truck.

Stock wheels are 15x8 with no offset, the new wheels would be 17x8 with a 40mm positive offset. I need to be able to fit adaptors in there and i dont want my wheels sticking out like a mexican. Will these work ?

a positive offset would mean they would stick out less..

40mm is around 1.5 inches so you would need a 1.5 adapter. I personally wouldnt ride adapters but do what ya want

Im not, ive changed my mind on how im going to do it.

17's are cheap you should be able to find the ones you want in the offset and lug pattern you want

False, Go into your local Wheel dealer and tell him what size you will need. I know he can find it.

lulz, i dont want 17s, i want 20"s with Pirellis. But it was a hot set of 17's i wouldve put on my 86.
