whats your view on eDead sound deadener?

awesome, did you dual layer it anywhere? or single layer the hole way? and what % if you were to guess it reduced noise from back there or improved sq spl of your system if you have one?
If you did some reading on the SDS site, you probably wouldn't ask about LAYERS. You'd only need 25% -50% coverage of the panel you're treating.

or if i stated that i know the edead is cheaper stuff so i might need multiple layers........

so now that you have wasted a post also. want to answer the QUESTION? whats your thoughts on edead and edead only?

Go to the SoundDeadenerShowdown.com and read. You dont need to buy their products, they have information over there that YOU NEED TO READ. You obviously dont know jack shit about sound deadening. Go over there and learn some stuff and then figure out what product you need.

eb2 language:

phuck your question, and phuck edead, you unappreciative phuck. go waste your money and double up with cheap crap. Do triple layers while you're at it. Any layer after the first will just be deadening the layer below it. If you want to deaden deadener, go ahead.

Lawl.

i have used edead and dynamat and SS are much better. But edead will deaden to an extent but it is not as good. edead is better than nothing but not like a night and day difference like dynamat and SS. I have never used SDS products. I read that stuff before it was a product.

I used two layers on the trunk and 1 layer around the car, and it kept a db or two in the car. Very noticeable in my car, there's videos before and after dynamat on my youtube, just they're with my ol' pioneers

YouTube - EXO Peel And Seal Review - Cheap Car Audio Alternative To Dynamat Sound Deadener

and i have a video of my own, a pepsi can 25% covered with sds and one with 25% coverage with peel and seal from my local lowes. dropped from 10 feet, 3 drops and read with a dosimeter. the peel and seal was 1.77% with a standard dev of .07% less effective. and it cost 1/9th the price of sds. so you are paying approximately 85% too much for sds. granite this is just a can, and their samples they sent me, and not a complete car, but i think the tests are good enough to show the sds was nothing special and highly overpriced....

edead on the other hand does not have samples that i know of. therefore i cannot do this test. therefore i was looking for your guys opinions reviews on it. but seems i get everything but that on this site....

Yes because a 10' drop with a pop can is equivalent to a sub woofer rattling sheet metal on 1200 watts RMS. ******** great ******** ******** compariphuckinson.

unappreciative huh? how about you being unappreciative of my question. did you ever think of that. i clearly stated what i wanted to know. "reviews thoughts on edead" not: "hey can you tell me every other brand i should buy instead of edead? thanks guys!"

true. have a better test proving im wrong? show me your video then of before after with x brand vs your nuthugging favorite brand.

oh wait, how about we just stick to answering my question. review on edead. already have done an entire car with second skin. overpriced. works great. not looking for something that works that well for this cheap *** car. did you ever take that into consideration? done a fairlane with damplifier too. overpriced. works well.

now i am looking for reviews on the cheap edead. which everyone but 2 people seem to be having trouble answering.

hell seriously everyone, lets just post the best sub/amp/headunit/sound deadener there is as a sticky. that way next time joe blow is asking about a product that is "not the best" you guys can link him to the sticky. because god knows we can all afford the best and shouldnt ask about anything but the best. whats that? he wants a review on a type r sub??? lets tell him every sub that is better EXCEPT the sub he is interested in. no reason to settle for 2nd, we should all own the best! next time you go buy a microwave, make sure you do your research and buy the most expensive best one there is, i mean afterall, dont ask anyone about the quality of that specific model/product because there are clearly better ones out there and its just stupid not to own the best. duh!

it's not about brand nuthugging. It's about the correct and effective use of deadener. I don't link people to SDS to tell them to buy their products. It's so people can read the quality info that's offered on that site. If SDS products is purchased, than that's just a nice side-effect, because they're good peoples.

do not get hung up in sq ft, I know its hard as thats how you buy it.

Personally Raamat is way better then 2 layers of eDead.

If you buy eDead your going to have to use multiple layers and cover everything. If you use other then you only need 1 layer in specific spots.

So you pay less and have to do 2x as much work installing it, but your really not paying less since you dont need to cover everything with a better product
