Whats your thoughts on RE Audio?

re was and still is a relative small company,ok they were selling everthing pretty cheap, which ended them up at bankruptcy's door.so us amps come in and basically said we will buy in,but you will have to sell at these prices direct.i mean i dont blame re for going a bit more mainstream,it only makes sense to.

i hear re is going to release a new line of products just for the internet community,at a affordable price.
I really wouldnt hold my breath on this one...i mean come on...lol what i can see tho is them selling through people(like flako and US Amps) get 1/4 knocked off the price tag but doubt they will make a "new" line just for the webtards.and if they do. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif

maybe not quite that extreme, but they were having finacial problems.
The more you say this, the more you prove you don't know what was going on.

RE offering pricing on the internet would be a gong show, no doubt, and would do the same thing it was doing before: make it challenging for dealers to make any sales.

i love re products, and it seems that on here everybody wants dealers to fall on thier face anyways.they think if they cant get it direct for cheap the company sucks,im taking up for re here and dealers.

Well, to consider that you must consider how big of a role a dealer plans. In many cases, none at all. A lot of the times a dealer is just a middleman that makes buying the goods trivially easier but at the cost of ... well ... cost. Not to say that they don't have their place, as often times a dealer is a great help. I'm just saying .. well you know I don't really know what I'm saying. I'm rambling. /post?

i at least like the fact that you can actually go listen to their new lines (06' XXX and MX) particularly, so i don't have to spend my life savings before i hear something.....prices, now that's something else

it does make sense...but it makes more sense that the average consumer on forums like this to switch to newer companies like FI that offer similar products at a lower price.
A lot more consumers go to shops to get subs instead of through the internet. so being a internet based company like Fi you can only get soo many people to buy. Only way to take a step forward was to up prices a bit and go through more dealers

So just got done talking with a local rep in my region about RE and it seems like they are going to try push the lower lines on the internet here and if all is well they are going to drop some of the price, that is sum not all, to make it a little more feasable for those internet cost mungers...that way dealers are not taking a big hit and having low profit margins...
