they is cheap.......but i did use one of there more expensive amps for a month or two in between systems a few years ago and liked it......sold it to a friend and its still works......they definitely don't to rated power though.

Ive never really cared for boss their products dont do true power not ce rated not a very good product imo. Ive known a few people who tried running rated power and blew the subs very quick.

this is the amp i used lol on a 300w rms sub gain was at least half way........rated power i think not

i would like to say boss audio is not a good brand. They over rate there products and they are dirty power. If you want cheap go to audiopipe.
