What do believe would sound better with 600 dollars should get a head unit an speakers for the doors an the trunk, or try an get all speakers plus a subwoofer an amp in the trunk on the sam budget. This will be imside a 06 hyundai accent if you wanted to know

Keep factory speakers/ radio and get the loudest subs u can find

Worst advice possible.

OP, my advice is to get a new head unit, speakers for the doors, and an amp for them. If you plan on having a sub in your trunk, the rear speakers will sound horrible anyway.

What are the features you need in a head unit? Front auxiliary? Front USB? Or would you rather have that in the rear? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

If you want something real big and loud then id do it in steps and just buy pieces at a time.

If you want everything within a $600 total budget id look into used stuff.

Buy a head unit for about $100

some door speakers for about $50

wiring for about $100

Sub about $120

Amp about $150

And you have about $70 left for a box.

A good set up costs money right now I'd worry about replacing the factory speakers.you can go with the speakers mentioned above,or some decent alpine sps coaxials.not sure of the price on the alpines but I think its in the range of 50-80 bucks a pair.

Ok so you say upgrade the door speakers, tweeters, and head unit and then get a sub and amp in the trunk forgetting about the rear speakers. What's a good brand of subs to look at prefab already i dont want to build it.

Good and prefab are definitely not hand in hand. Answer my questions, and I'll be able to give you solid advice, unlike the others in the topic.

What kind of features do you need for the head unit? Auxiliary input? USB? Do you think you'll utilize an 5-7 band equalizer if you have one? You might be able to get some nice speakers from @Tallc here, if you're looking for components. With $600, you'd probably be able to get a nice head unit, 6-1/2" components for your fronts, and a nice amp. When I say nice, I mean quality. You don't want to get Audiopipe amps like most of the people here(on this site in general). Don't get $25 speakers because they're not going to sound good.
