What's wrong with this subwoofer?

did the cone separate from the coil/suspension? Doesn't look like the cone is moving in the vid.
Nope. I don't have a bass track, so it was essentially trying to play a full range, but no, I noticed that too - however, I had it on low volume, so there wouldn't be much excursion. It was moving slightly.

And yes, I know there's a hole in the surround.

I would like to know if its repairable to, I have a kicker L5 15'' that does the same thing and theres nothing seperated on the speaker anywhere and the voice coils are still fine.

oh really? im not too far from there. we will have to meet up sometime
Quite - I just need some find some off time here. However, my system sucks a bit. Especially front stage. Even more considering it's the only thing playing in my car atm. Sony Xplodes 4x6 4-way speakers -.- Long story behind those. And not my choice :p

whats wrong with it?......its a JL.
Sorry, I can't help that. These were my dad's old subs, sitting in the basement for a while. I made a mistake wiring them up, and totally blew one of them, but this one still reads a resistance, and has output. Wanted to see if it could possibly work.

Also... If anyone knew the model of these, it would help. Absolutely no clue - these are a bit old school.
