Can be fixed but I would personally stick it in the trash, lol

Why?

I'm on a budget, and one small subwoofer would be good for my car. If I could fix it, it'd help me.

Give me more money for savings, or a certain girl.

Quite - I just need some find some off time here. However, my system sucks a bit. Especially front stage. Even more considering it's the only thing playing in my car atm. Sony Xplodes 4x6 4-way speakers -.- Long story behind those. And not my choice

mines not all that good right now either. however once i finally get to install a few items i havent had the chance to do so yet it should sound fairly decent. especially once my comps are in and i get my nice scratchy sub out of my car

Sounds like an unwound voice coil to me as well. I don't think you can re-wind it, so it would need a recone I think.

Recones aren't worth it on JL's, especially if your on a budget, that's my opinion at least.

Guess I'll have to get a new sub then. Was hoping I could still use that.
