That is actually correct series wiring. If it weren't correct, it wouldn't make sound at all.

Amp pos to coil #1 pos--coil #1 neg to coil#2 pos--coil#2 neg to amp neg. It is a big loop.

Yeah but he has amp positve coil 1 amp negative coil 1 and a jumper on coil 2 pos to neg - that jumper is accomplishing nothing, and yes you will get sound if you only power 1 voice coil ;-)

You sir need to look at tbat video again he has the negative and positive jumped on same coil he is actually only using one coil.
