Whats wrong with subwoofer?

dude!!!!! you gotta check the setting i have a 250 watts rms woofer [swe 1412 ] alpine and it pounds like a mofo in a sealed box [ for the wattage] its the setting make sure you have it on low pass like they said above since a high pass will only allow a certian band of high notes pass....and the low pass does the oppisite it filters out any high notes only allowing the lows...so thats VITAL

Also like they said subsonic CHECK IT WHAT IS IT SET AT

its in the install.. its not the sub or the amp as long as they are in good working condition.

I installed 2 ID10 v3 D2's in my roomates Explorer. Each subs are in a sealed 1.2 cu^ft enclosure, and hes pushing them with a Solid Audio F2 (260watts RMS x1) and they have great output for the amount of power that hes pushing to them.

ID's and IDQ's dont need alot of power to get reasonably loud.

So should i check my wiring to see if its wire wrong. I just notice that when i set my subwoofer on the head unit the subs goes off but when set off the subs goes on.

Your posts are getting harder to understand. Please try to use proper English.

So If I'm understanding you, when you turn your SUB off on the HU, it turns on. And when turned on the sub turns off???

Unless the HU was manufactured wrong that's impossible...

Yea i had it lpf around 60-80 still sounds like a midbass.

you are wrong.

if you have the LPF set at 60hz, it DOES NOT sound like midbass. i dont even have to listen to it to know that, neither should you. flip the HPF/LPF, switch and see what changes.

Im only sending 200watts RMS to each of my 10v.3's in 2.25ft^3 Tuned to 28hz and they get plunty loud for what i want. I will admit on some rock songs there isnt enough bass but with a good rap song there more then anyone should need for daily listening

A "lpf" is a "low pass filter". If you had/have your "low pass filter" set at 60hz, its impossible the speakers are playing midbass frequencies, unless your xover is messed up. At this point you seem to be saying your subwoofer on/off button on the headunit is 180 degree backwards (messed up) and your low pass filter aparently is high passing (again 180 degrees messed up). I find it impossible to believe these items were manufactured that incorrectly. Frankly, you need to take your system to a pro and have them set it all up for you. Watch him and ask question while he is doing so. You seem to be in way over your head, even with help from people here.

Also, you may not have the gains set to their full potential, check out the gain setting tutorial in the amplifier section on these forums. And if you're still not getting much output maybe ported would be the way to go for you...you're not going to get ridiculously loud bass with this sub, if that is what you are expecting.
