whats wrong with my computer?

Start with the OS CD then install the utilities. You cant install those on a computer without an OS. Let me know if you need some real help. Unfortunately, this is what I do for a living. Yes, I am that "IT guy"

ya, but id prob fuck up and end up having to buy a new one anyways:crap: unless its just Remove and replace.

on my first inspiron (forget the model number but it was new in 03) it was that simple. two screws and it just falls right out. my new one doesnt look simple though. but i cant imagine its too difficult.
