I have finally finished installing my system.(never really done but anyways) and I am just not happy not as loud as I want it to be or as clean sounding. Everyone else that hears it says OMG wow it sounds great and **** its loud but when they say so I have a fake smirk on my face becouse I am trying to be happy but I am not content. I think I am going to start saving and upgrade EVERYTHING piece by piece. Thinking of a A DCSOUNDLAB 7.5k or a NS_1 From sundown and a pair of Mayhem 12's or some lvl 5 subs with possible upgrades then a matching 4ch from either and pro audio all the way around instead of components. I have been out of it for a while so maybe I have lost my old caraudio touch and I am doing something wrong were its not to its full potential. I know my voltage start point ***** on these new cars but thats my next fix going to get the unit from missinglinkaudio to fix that maybe it will help.

Don't worry about it - it happens to a lot of people who are relatively serious about car audio. My SA-15 was absolutely perfect for me at first - I've just grown used to it. you're not the only one. Recently went with a setup everyone seems to enjoy but i feel its miserable haha. Im changing everything out from 2 way to 3 way and from 2 SA-8's to 1 15. everyone says it sounds good but I constantly want better.

Lol I have re-tuned about 8 times and I am going nuts. Every time I re-tune one thing gets better and another gets worse lol. can the speakers just be old they have been sitting sense 2007 in my garage. I am going to measure the ohms today when I get home just to be at ease maybe a coil is gone I don't know.

as stated before, this is normal for us car audio junkies. always after the elusive sound. while anybody that listens to it says it sounds good, we, on the other hand, are always saying to ourselves; self, why is the bass not making my ears bleed and my nose run? more powah, mmooooooorrrrreee!!!!! finally got my lvl4 12 in it's box on a saz1500v3, i now have a ho alt on the way, and the car audio geni starts whispering-saz3000........in my ear. somebody make it STOP.

lol I think I might start with a pair of ascendant's mayehm 12's just with the little drop ill get in ohms ill get that much more power and see if it makes me happy and continue with doing an active setup

the funny part is I have been doing this for a real long time. Just been out of the game for a while due to medical problems. I did an accord with 2 re sx 12's with an md1d to each and it was way louder than what I have right now. that really depresses me lol
