whats wrong with ebay boxes????

just looking for reviews/feedback etc...

I found three companys on ebay making what appear to be decent box's, 5/8 mdf, double baffles, port tuned, etc...

I compared some of the specs with the box plans on this site, and there bang on...

I emailed the builders about how there made, and its wood glue and staples for all of them...

So I decided to bite the bullit and order one up... I'll keep you informed...

p.s. also , bassworxs box's look pretty well built also whats wrong with them???

if you did you research, and it seems like they know what they're talking about, then go for it. i dont see nothing wrong with the nicer ones either.

Did you check what the box is tuned to? Alot of the prefab boxes are tuned pretty high..

anyway I dont think that a little speaker will stress a box to the point of a 7900lb unimog. but then again I made my 6*9 pods out of 14g steel!
