I have this amp

Alpine MRP-M850 Mono subwoofer amplifier 800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

And 2 of these subs

Pioneer TS-W257D4 (tsw257d4) - 10" Subwoofers - Sonic Electronix

I believe I have them wired correctly to the amp but the problem is when I turn the volume up in my car the subs cut off but the amp is still on

This is how I have them wired to the amp

Please help if you can I miss my bass I'm thinking I need another amp

Well if your subs are d4, then you either have it wired to 1 or 4, i'm assuming 1.

That amp isn't stable at 1 ohm.

Solution: New subs different impedence or amp that handles 1 ohm or puts out your power at 4.

I guess I need a stronger amp to push them I checked my ground that's fine..my remote wire kept coming loose from the amp it was too short so I connected more wire to it so I could be long enough

But to be honest could it be the fact that the Ring terminal that's connects to the batter under hood is not really connected properly to the battery I really have it on the fuse box but the rings are not big enough to fit around the positive post on the fuse box so i maybe just take it off till I get a bigger one
