Yes, as long as the negative wire is not touching the positive wire, you're golden.Well the terminals are wierd. I crimp them from the inside of the box. And on the outside, you push them down and an opening appears. I just re-did it, and I stuck it through the hole better. Is this all I need to do for the terminals? On the remote wire, I just crimped it to the blue/white wire comming off my HU. I saw that the red RCA needs to be in "R" and black in "L" on the amp. Does it matter which order on teh HU?
Is it an actual subwoofer pre-out on your head-unit?My HU doesnt have colors on the plug-ins on the back of the HU.
Do you mean the whole wire itself cannot touch the others, or the exposed wire?
That's why he's here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifwow find someone to help you it sounds like you dont know what your doing at all.
?? Its just the wire that the manual said was the remote turn on. its an alpine 9884.Is it an actual subwoofer pre-out on your head-unit?
The exposed wire should not be touching each other or the other terminal on the box.
I'm talking about the rca's pre-outs fool. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif You should have a front, rear, and a subwoofer pre-out on the back of teh head-unit.?? Its just the wire that the manual said was the remote turn on. its an alpine 9884.
Did you even read teh manual? How do you know you have them in the correct spot?I looked on the manual and it had a diagram of the back of the HU. There are 3 sets of 2 holes. It had the RCA cabels leading to the middle set, so I stuck em there.
