What's wrong here?

Well, I was installing my speaker amp and comps. It started raining when I had my amp out, but I don't think that's the problem.

Mounted the speakers, mounted the amp, connected power ground, remote, all speaker wire in bridged mode.

Mounted the amp to where the power lights are pointing towards the floor of the trunk.

Got everything wired up and turned forward the ignition.

Nothing!

No music coming from speakers at all.

I put my hand where the amp power light would be and nothing reflected on my hand (It's really dark here right now).

What the hell is wrong?

So you're saying you left your amp in the rain and the amp isn't powering up? Well, besides that, did you make sure to hookup your ground before the power wire? Any fuses blown?

U hooked it up! j/k.

wait until it is light and then make sure all connections are good.

I'm assuming it didnt get that wet as you dont think this is the problem, so it has to be fuses or a connection problem.

It started pouring all of the sudden, I grabbed the amp and brought it inside.

I'm calling it for the night, but I was in a rush to hook it up. I hooked up the power, touched the ground to the - terminal and got a little spark.

I'll check the fuse tomorrow.

Thanks Tiger

Yea Dave, trying to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Those tweeters are FECKING loud!

I'm sure the one of the fuses in the amp is blown.

I'll check before I head off to school tomorrow.

Well, check all the fuses, connections, and whether or not the amp is powering up tomorrow and let us know what you find out.

I'm almost sure the connections are fine.

Of course that's the first thing I checked.

All good on the battery pos, good on amp pos neg and rem.

There was a little spark though since I had the power connected to amp and bat + when I touched the ground to amp.

I didn't keep on trying to screw the neg in, though. Disconnected the + to amp and connected ground, proceeded with + to amp.

I didn't even think to check the fuse. Stupid me.

This is what DMM's are for. Check to make sure you're getting 14 volts at the amp. Check to make sure your remote wire is sending a signal to the amp. If those two things check out, and your speakers are unhooked, it's an amp problem.
