what does 1st port resonance mean and whats it effect.

and should the line be a gradual rise or is my line correct for what i want it to do

It's the first resonance frequency your port will make noise on other than what it's tuned to more or less. You want to cross over well below this region to make sure it's not audible. Unless you tune very low so that your port tuning and it's first resonace are in the woofers bandpass then it's a non-issue. As far as your graph, I have no idea what kind of output or sound your looking for so it's hard to say. Looks like alot of bloated low end to me, so if that's what you wanted then it looks fine. you should go get winisd alpha, much better program even with it's bugs.

That is winisd alpha.

I agree, your peak and subsequent roll off are very steep. Unless you are building a burp machine, you ultimately want a flat response curve (once vehicle environment affects are factored in).

ok well i wana make a box thats built super low that takes advantage of all the xmax that these subs have. i got a few buddies with 3 10s and they move a shit ton of air compared to me and i wanna figure out what they tune there boxes too so i can get a ballpark range to how i could move air like them.

what would i look for to get air movement for 2 12s.
