What's the overall opinion of Elemental Designs?

eD makes cheap stuff. The subs no better than anything else in their price range, and their amps are not reliable, my nine.2 overheats all the time. You can't get help on icix because they are nazis on that forum and censor everything. Apparently some people have sent stuff in and gotten it back in the same condition it left in. People just get aroused by the thought of a 3 year warrenty, which they will never use, unless eD happens to send you a sub without a voicecoil or something, because they will find a way out of helping you. The fanboys piss me off too.

ummmm.....nope. re has it's own buildhouse, as does Adire. Adire does alot of OEM work for other ppl, as does desjti (spell) for RE. the only common bond between RE and Adire is the use of the xbl^2 topology, IIRC.

TC makes stuff for soundsplinter

tc sounds makes ALL of SoundSplinter's subs. as mike has mentioned 1000's of times. tc sounds also OEM's eclipse, used to OEM Stereo Integrity and eDuh.

the subs if a stock shouldnt be bad at all amps are pretty decent just depends on if u like ben i suppose lol

eD has really good marketing, thats all I'll give them. Those sleek black amps and 3 year warrenties make you feel all good inside, but dont let it fool you, eD is SHIT. imo of course.

Destijl is the buildhouse for RE. Actually used to be the buildhouse for the 2nd-gen eD "K" drivers - the ****-cone ones with the "E". If you find these used, pick 'em up! They're a hell of a deal, and they're very good quality.

The flat cones were built by TC Sounds.

I love my NINe.1 amp and have never had a problem with it and have never had a problem with their customer service. The NINe.4 runs a little too hot for my taste though.

i can make a list out of bad deals with alot of companies it doesnt prove too much other than the fact noone has 100% customer satisfaction lol
