What's the overall opinion of Elemental Designs?

the problem most people have with eD does not relate to their products, it's more like extreme dislike for the owner and his business practices

Ok, so from what I've read, customer service and the guy who runs the company ****, and some of the older products had major defects.

A few people have commented negatively on the 2 current subwoofer lines they have. Any positive feedback? I like the look of ED's stuff and might consider getting some in the future, if you guys don't convince me not too.

all ED's stuff right now is made by image dynamics if im not mistaken... its basically just re-badged "id" and "idq" type-stuff.

Subs are made by Image Dynamics.

Speakers are made by (rebadged?) CDT.

Mat deadener is peel n seal.

Amplifiers are made by Value Electronics.

95% of the people that like to run their mouth about ED dont know a **** thing about them or their products, FYI.

I've been lied to on several occasions, however.

I think, out of all the ****ups that eDuh has made, the best one is them sending people eD K's with O motors, and not saying a word about it....

no problems with my nine.1. moves my 12's just fine. although if i had known all of this i would have gone with something else, probably would have spent the extra coin on an orion 2500d.
