alright i've already ordered my atlas 15, and im wondering...if i should just do 2 10s or sumthin like that in my truck insted of cutting it? i found some hidden space behind my seat and i can definatly fit a box back there, im just wondering if the 15 will be louder or cleaner than 2 10s?

Depending on what 10's you use. A 15 will sound just as clean when compared to it's smaller version. Subwoofer size has no bearing on SQ, that is mostly box dependant.

Define shallow mounting depth. Exactly how much do you have to work with. I can name 30+ drivers I would classify as shallow. But without any detail how can I truly answer your question.

Considering I owned a M30. I had decent space in depth, so my range of shallow would be around 6"

Well said. What about that new pioneer shallow mount woofer. Looks like it is decent. Is 300rms I think.

It only comes in a 12".

Sure they would sound good. But don't expect much output. They were not designed with output in mind. You would be better off getting 2-4 powerfull 8's.
