whats the most youve ever spent

2) Dress shoes....uh, payless? i will never fork over $300 for a pair of shoes that cost them $5 to make. ive found some payless shoes that look perfect as dress shoes
the funniest thing about shoes (mostly dress shoes) is that only the person wearing them knows what they are or even notices them. from a 3rd party view, IF someone actually notices them, they just look like "black/brown dress shoes". nothing more nothing less. i dont see the need to spend $300 for something that wont be noticed anyways.
I disagree. Maybe that is true for people that do not wear quality dress shoes, but if you buy quality yourself than you can tell.

I will not buy cheap dress shoes.

do you go looking down at peoples feet all day?

they all look the same to me in the stores. shiny brown or black and shaped weird.

edit: then again, maybe its because i only wear dress shoes for interviews, and i only put them on when i get there and take them off as the interview is over and im in my car. the only time i will spend a ton of money on shoes is if they're not shoes at all, but boots that i will be wearing all day ever day at work. i can take it in the *** once in a while and pay $200 for some boots when its for all day comfort.

$100 MAAAAAAYBE probably more than $80, can see spending tons of money on something that is gonna wear out and probably be clean for only a month tops. I can't keep shoes clean and refuse to even attempt it.
dude i am right there with you. i never clean my shoes and am horrible to them i am in mud all the time. the most i have ever spent on a pair of shoes is $80 and they are well worth ever penny, they are called DVS and they are skatebording shoes.(no i dont skate) i bought them because they are very duable due to the fact that griptape is basically sandpaper. also because they are VERY VERY comfortable, now that they are broken in it is like my feet are having an orgasm everytime i put them on. and for some reason they stay really clean. i got them in black and have sunk in mud so ddep you could not see them. they mud dries and flakes right off. they look like i got them yesterday but have owned them for over 3 months now.

When I was a kid my mom always bought me what was in. Makes me think how I didn't appreciate her enough and what a dumbass I was to get such expensive shows to just have the in thing. Retarded! Every 6 months my mom was spending over 100 smacks on just my shoes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Stupid!

To be honest with you, I go to payless and buy my shoes now. I usually stay under 50smacks.

Most on shoes... $150 on some Shox....well, a lot of them. Used to buy a new pair every month. Now i'm happy with some Kswiss' for $70. I'm lovin those tan prada shoes linked though, might actually pick up a pair.

I especially hate wearing cheap dress shoes. why not that much, I won't spend less then $100 on them just because walmart brand look cheap, and feel worse. Some can tell, some can't

$205 for highschool graduation shoes. I kept and wore them for 5 years so well worth it. I want to find a place and get them re-soled.
The "expensive" ones are well worth it. They fit well, last a lot longer and in the long run, getting them re-soled costs much less then getting a new pair of shoes every 6-12 months.

Most just dont do the math.

Yes, I do as a matter of fact. We have been over this countless times in private messages.

And I wear dress shoes 4-5 x a week, so get off my nutz about it.

i`ve once spent 380 on hunting boots [ warmest boots ever ] can handle up to -80* and still have the inside between 32 and 40 and i`ve bought some Castle Snowmobile boots for 300

i got more money than you cats in my house safe and dont buy some stupid shit like $400 shoes. i dont spend more than $100 for my entire suits for work and i work for city council!
