The most I have ever spent is probaby 40-50 bux. My parents used to get me $100+ basketball shoes back when I played BCI and AAU when I was in MS and HS.

Sneakers last me 2-3 months I try to rotate a few pair at a time. Those which I really like I don't wear for some reason I guess hoping they will be worth some $$$ someday.

i have a pair of macbeths that i paid ~80 bux for IIRC and they rotated into work shoes and they are holding together great after about a year...

i have a DC/Nike Dunk sneaker fetish... although they are cheap. 60-80 bucks or so. I was buying Dunks when they sold them regularly in footaction and such.
