whats the main difference between ported or sealed box

i have a ported box made for my 2 magnum D2's... im not gonna compete.. im just gonna use it on a daily basis... so im looking for SQ...... i just ordered a ported box... can u explain what its gonna do for me and will it still sound good.. ..

you ordered?...well it might make them sound sloppy depending on the build quality and size...If you have the chance i would reccomend canceling the order and making your own sealed (pretty easy). They will get loud enough for daily, and will sound better than an ordered ported.

well if you were looking for SQ you would want sealed. Ported will still have some SQ but sacrafies some of it for SPL.

I've seen SQL tossed around, and on this forum it probably doesn't mean Structured Query Language.

Is it basically Sound Quality Loud? Something like that...
