local guy is doing 156's with like 1000 watts and 4 12's... then my buddy is doing like 138's with 1500 watts and a single 15" LOL...

The MRP M1000 can't do 1Ohm, which doesn't necessarily matter. I had the 1200 and it was a great amp. It does 1470@14.4v. I was running 2 Type R 12's on it in a blazer and it was deafening. I can't think of a cheaper 500w RMS sub.

I was going to run the Dual 2 ohm DC subs, which I could run that pair on that Alpine amp @ 2 ohms @ 1000 watts RMS

how come u r getting rid of the aq hdc and ed nine.1 thats an amazing setup, are u trying to get louder???

I have also seen the AA chaos subs get decently loud, 2 of the chaos 15's tuned around 32hz iv seen do mid 140's

I'm in Bradenton so im like 1 hour from plant city.

The AQ and ED was a nice setup, but my car can't take 1200-1500 RMS @ 1 ohm any longer. So I plan to use a slightly less powerfull amp with a higher ohm load hoping it will put less strain on my electricals.

and this is going in a honda civic :/ not too much trunk space but good enough for 2 12's
