Whats the LOUDEST i can get on 1000 watts RMS?

Just that....is the DC better than alpine?is it louder? does it have better SQ?

and this is going in a honda civic :/ not too much trunk space but good enough for 2 12's

I would deff take the lvl3 over the type r, type r isnt a bad woofer but the lvl3 is better.

I'd probably go with the Type R's just because you can pick up a pair off Ebay for probably less than one of the LVL 3's. And if you're only running 1000-1200rms I doubt you'll see the difference. Just put that extra money towards a well built box.

have you tried kicker cvx subs? can find them online for 150.00 to 200.00 for 10's or 12's. great sub great price. check out my utube video: 2-10 cvx and us amp 1000Watt....

I agree the lvl 3's are far superior, but he's only going to run 1k for the pair not to each. It would kinda be a shame to use those subs.

I have hands on experience with the DC lvl 3s, 12s actually. They are ran at 2 ohms off of the AQ 2200D, in a trunk, box is 4 cubes net 32 hz. The sound quality is fantastic on them, and they get pretty dang loud. Some posts you seem like you want SQ but you say you also want to get loud? If you really are interested in the SQ, the lvl 3s hands down.
