whats the diff hd3 and hdc3?

the hdc ares louder in my application and they have better lows more throw and a better overall tone. I am happy i switched from the hd3's, i mean the hd3's are beasts but the Hdc's are bigger, better beasts

The C's had to have not liked that box. Not sayin that accounts for all 2 DBs but it had to count for some.

According to DJ the soft parts/TS parameters are different, so the HDC's peaked lower in that particular box.

I've raised the tuning and reduced box volume, but never got a chance to meter it since then.
