Whats the diff between DVC and single voice coil?

I dont get it.. they are the same price, so whats the catch? Is one better that the other?

the only real difference is the ways you can wire them ith the dvc you have more wiring options. but if i was buyin the subs and had the choice id always go with the dvc over a svc if they are the same sub model
