Just bought this kicker sub. The amp i have is trash. Whats a good recomended amp that that wont over heat or protect? On me

FYI EVERYONE That was a 500w MAX sub. 200-300w RMS. ALL OF YOU overkilled it.

You could run that sub on a 4 channel amp and have 2 channels left for amping front speakers. I just put a small system in my brothers car with a single low powered sub bridged on 2 channels and 2 front speakers running on the other 2. He spent 400 dollars total on everything and sounds pretty damn good.
