Whats the best way to connect the wiring harness....

To the car wiring when hooking up a deck, without saudering it? Do those little twisty connectors work good, the tubes you crimp, or twisting the wire together and putting electrical tape on it? I'm thinking the twisty connectors (used them in the past), but wondering what else everyone else uses. Also I am staring my install this week over a 2-week period. Im doing the deck and running 3 sets of RCA's and all the amp wiring. In the meantime I want to run the stock speakers off the hu until I install the new speakers and amp. When the amp goes in can I just disconnect the old wiring and run the new speaker wire from the amp to the speakers and not worry about the wiring connected to the hu (it has an internal amp that will be turned off)? Thanks,

Dave

personally i like the tubes u connect then u can crimp for that extra protection....its the most baller thing to do......u can get them hoes from wally world(baller mart)

crimp caps offer a way better connection then butt connectors. Think about it, the 2 wires you're conneting are touching because they're twisted together inside the crimp cap. With a good crimp there's no way that cap is coming off. With a butt connector the 2 wires don't touch, the signal has to go thru the stupid piece of crimped metal in the middle. So use crimp caps, cuz they're the quickest and teh best connection next to soldering.
