whats the best watt amp to push 2x 800 watt performance tekniques 5710

i am wanting to buy the 2500watt teknique mono block to push my 5710's subs but im not sure. i want the amp because i may add more speakers later. is that amp adjustable or pure 1 channel it does have bass control switch. so,whats the best wattage amp to push 2x 800 dual core watt performance tekniques 5710? i would like to stay with performance teknique amps. would i be able to buy the 2500watt mono block and adjust it? would i have to buy more speakers to add to that mono block? i was told that amp is more of a true 1600 watt amp than 2500watt, below is my set up so far. i will buy 4x500watt 4x10's for my doors.

performance tekniq

2 x 800 watt dual coil subs 5710s

2 x 300 tweeter

7 band eq

Any thoughts about the amp or should i just get the different amp?
