Whats the best to get?

As you can see from below that my system needs a lot of work and I saving up for a new one. I was wondering are the best subs to buy like JL or Eclipse and kind of box to put it in and powered by new amp, but I need a good one. So any suggestions would be helpful.

I don't think the Eclipse will be as clean as JL it mostly depends on the model though.

If you are gonna pay that kind of money look into these as well.

Seems as you are looking for primarily SQ based on your initial selections.

The Eclipse 8800 series would offer your supreme SQ and extended bass response.

Have had a few of the subs listed and to my amazment tried a set of alpine type R,s and they still impress me everytime I turn the knob up ! running them on a jbl 1200.1 in sealed .88 boxes , Very impressed with SQ and SPL ! By the way they are running at 4 ohm at the amp ! wish i would have bought the 2 ohmers !! Cant imagine it being any better thou ! !

OZ Audio and Crystal CMPx" is also an excellent choice. And if you are on a budget there should be some great deals on some IDQ's, that is if there are any about.

oz is sweet but i liked it better when i knew their engineers since jti bought it things changed

perfects hit hard? what are you comparing those too? to me they are rather mellow or your setting them up ported.

Personally, if I had the money, I'd buy Orions...I've never seen a sub get kicked and still play like nothing happen. I can't remember what type sub it was but it was crazy.

you can stand on the cones of a boston pro sub put it in a box and play it like nothing ever happened...that is how i sold them...then got yelled at by my boss for selling the "wrong sub" wasnt a rockford or an eclipse lol but that is another story

cdt audio is the best sq in car audio and geesis amps / but if you want spl go for adar audio witch auto tec amps
