Whats the best thing to take for HBP?

And exactly why do you not have health coverage but collect cars and CA? 100 or so dollars a month for a decent 500 deductable policy is a small price to pay for peace of mind. Especially now. To get a proper workup from a cardiologist can cost a few thousand dollars here in the U.S.
not sure who to check with on getting it or i probably would have it...i saw Billy Mays was advertising some sorta medical plan on TV the other day...but I mis placed the number

I kind of assumed you were a tad more intelligent than this. That distalic number is STUPID high man! There are a lot of BP pills that are pretty cheap. Cut out the caffeine, and get some exercise. If how you FEEL and the numbers are correlating, then there is an issue that needs to be checked on man.

when are you getting these high readings? Are you sitting relaxed? My number is always a little high at the Dr's but normally it is 105/60ish when I check at the stores on the arm machines.

My rep here in Nashville busted his *** to get my family covered, including my son with CP!

I am not telling you they are the only, by any means, but I have had a wonderful experiance with then and can highly recommend them based off my experiance.

Don't screw around with this.

Note, cut out all the carbonated drinks, caffine, fat... for the next month or so, when you apply for the health insurance you will have a physical, you don't want to have those numbers when you have that done.

If you cut out the sodas and cut way back on the fat, I wouldn't be suprised if you lose 10lbs in the first month.

and you'll feel a heck of a lot better as well by not taking in all that crap.

That is hard to believe but very true. there will be a couple days you feel like ***, but then you body adjusts and you actually feel much better than you did before you quite.

I stopped drinking sodas 6-8 months ago, and I actually can stand a soda now, I can't drind a can of coke anymore.

Alchahol raises b.p doesn't it? I think thats why alchys noses are red and they have broke vessels in their face.

My wife has high b.p. And eats tons of salt. I don't think that is good for you either.

so is beer carbonated ?...I know sodas are...I think beer is...but not sure...I figured I'd switch to beer if it wasn't instead of mixed drinks....
in many cases a little alcohol will lower blood pressure,,, large amounts of alcohol, especially taken by someone with already high blood pressure can raise it significantly. Even small amounts taken if you have HBP can raise it.

Heavy alcohol consumption was one of the reasons leading to my heart attack..

and yes, beer is carbonated..... Thats why it has bubbles..............

Dude,

Beer is off your list also.

infact all alcohol is. unless it is the ocassional red wine, or if you must a sipping drink on the rocks, one a day. You don't need the extra carbs now, you need to let your body attack the fat and cut the weight. You need to stay away from salt, so your not retaining unnecessary water. Atleast until you get your physical for the insurance. And go for a brisk walk fo 20min a day. buy a heary monitor, and walk fast enough to get your BPM up to above 120 and keep it there for 20min.
