yea there is a module you can buy to keep steering wheel controls..i heard ita a little delayed tho..like you push the button and its not instant like oem equipment is.. when you install one of these double din navhow do you keep it mounted...DO you bolt it in..i doubt it will line up with my factory bolt locations..i dont want to mess the hole up too bad just in case i ever wanna take it out and put my stock radio back in
yea the piece to keep your steering wheel controls is call a "peswips" from periphial. its like $129.99, and to put a double din unit in you will still need a dash kit
My brother just returned his BNIB Avic-D3 in favor of the new kenwood 8000 series (double din.) He heard terrible reviews on the Pioneer's navigation system; Somewhere along the lines of sending you miles past your destination only to do a u-turn.
Kenwood also paired up with Garmin to develop a nav system. I've seen it in action and in comparison to my Garmin 550, its pretty **** nice.
