Between an Fi Audio Q 15" and an Fi Sp4 15".

1- What I want to know is, Which will have the loudest overall output, Between 1 FI Audio Q 15" Sub in it's biggest recommended ported enclosure or 1 FI Audio SP4 15" in the smallest ported recommended enclosure? , Why?

2- Also, Which will be the less current/amperage consuming option?

Between an Fi Audio Q 15" and an Fi Sp4 15". I was wondering which will be the best and loudest output speaker for the enclosure I have, and at the same time the less amperage current consuming option? Should I switch mine and get an Fi Q?

I currently have installed an Fi Audio SP4 15" in a 3.5cu ft flared ported box.

If I remember right the Q is sq geared but 90% is the build.

In terms of output? The SP4 as it's what it was designed for. But why would you want to cram it into the minimum size enclosure you can get away with? That's no bueno for your sub(s).

As far as most efficient, that comes down to the enclosure, not so much the sub. Again, referring to your enclosure. A larger enclosure will allow you to get more output on less power (more or less).

well thing is, I already have in my car an 15" SP4 in a 3.5cu ft flare port. I just wanted to know if it's worth changing that for a 15" Fi Q and if I'll get louder output with that same enclosure?

Output is a rather subjective term. Do you mean sound pressure or bandwidth?

Because a large box will certainly widen the bandwidth but that comes at the cost of lower SPL... provided a smaller enclosure it's compared with isn't too small for the driver altogether.
