whats the best head unit

i just got money for christmas cause my parents dont know what to look for in car audio and its easier for me to go out and buy it. so.... what is the best head unit on the market? im not lookin for one of those flip out screens or none of that. i was lookin at the pioneer deh-p8400. it seems like a good cd player and i like the sound from pioneers but if i can get a better hu for a lower price then **** why not get it. thanks for the help. and of course ill be buyin this stuff on ebay. im 16 i cant afford the prices of stores

No such thing as "the best". The Pioneer is a good unit.

That Pioneer is a nice deck. You would be happy with it. How much would you be paying for it?

on ebay the majority of them are $350. brand new in box with warranty. so its a good deal. but then again i may just buy a cheaper hu and get subs and then buy that hu in the summer. i gotta find out how much money i have and what kind of subs i can get and all first.
