whats the best gauge size of speaker wire to run?

If you do use a more traditional solder, make sure it has a big flux rating. The bigger the flux, the better it matches to your capacitors (the ones that someone put inside the amp).
Completely forgot about that.

Just make sure you do it right the first time by soldering it.

yea thats what ill probally do, what did you mean earlier when you said i wouldnt even need crossovers? would i run 14 gauge from the crossovers to the speakers or would it have to be smaller

That is the bilateral configuration that most competition vehicles use with their component setups. It maximizes output while virtually eliminating distortion because of the distressed signals canceling each other out, only leaving the pure, strong sounds to proceed. Kind of like survival of the fittest with the weak, shitty sounding distortions being killed off so that the sound quality can have a constant peak.

thanks man that helps me visualize it, but also i would have 2 more sets of comps off the amp to, also why did you run a wire from crossover to crossover?

They are all linked inside the crossovers. Bilateral configuration eliminates the need to bridge from the amp so that you are getting a true boost in amperage by going from the crossovers themselves instead of having a middle man (the amp). It creates efficiency while reducing distortion.
