I went from a 12 off 500 watts, to a 15 off 1000, and it was a world of difference.

I was satisfied for...3 months now? and now I'm going ported instead of sealed and hopefully that satisfies for a while! I'd say Q or BL. BTL would sound like crap.

I would say the Q is SQL as it gets pretty **** loud, but does sound good. I told the GF that was thinking of getting her a new sub and she said no way. She has a 15" Q......perfect girly sub...

i definately have room for a 15, i just dont know if i wanna waste that much space in my car. idk i basically just wanna know what the loudest best sounding 12 i can get is. my w6 has amazing quality, but its just not loud enough at all

well if are wanting to get a SPL sub, then you are going to need to put it into a bigger box(unlike your dub6)

you just wont be happy getting a btl 12, and putting it in something like a 2 cu ft boxl

If you want to get louder, simply switching a sub you won't notice that big of a difference. You will need any of the following to get considerably louder:

Bigger sub/more subs

More power

Bigger box.

yes yes, but the w6 can't push lots of power and i'm waiting to build a bigger box till i get a sub worth building it for. i want something with more power to build a bigger box and get a bigger amp, but i'm having a lot of trouble deciding what to get.

hi, im an idiot who doesn't do research and immediately thinks a sub is awesome because its the most expensive one that the company makes even though it may not be suited for my application whatsoever.

And when I blow all my equipement after a week I'll come back and complain about how terrible it is because I don't know how to properly set gains and maintain a proper electrical system.
