Whats some good advertisement ideas?

I am tryin to wash/detail cars on my own right now ( worked at a car wash for a year and quit ) but I cant seem to get "known" that easy. I got some cards comin in the mail, what else should i try? Flyers? Lots of them? Any other ideas?

Not sure... at 16 I had my I own detail shop up town. Rented out a old carwash builing at a gas station for 350. bucks a month. Charged 75.00 for a full deteail. I went to the local car lots, and found one who didnt have a detailer at the time. Got 10 cars from them a week, and about 5-7 personal cars a week. Made about 4,000. a month, minus 350. rent fee, minus 1500.00 give or take in chemicals. Came out with about a 2,000. month profit at 16. Not bad.

I'd start at all the dealerships.

Go to businesses, or email them, asking if they'd like someone to wash the employess cars.

craigslist, thats where I found my current detailer, he pretty good too
