no no i think they are going to have them available AFTER CES which ends on the 8th.

Even then there's no guaranty you'll be able to call up and order anything the day after CES. CES is where the products may be unveiled, doesn't mean they'll be 100% ready to start taking orders on said products the next day.

Plus you have to remember, in the weeks following CES all these companies will be doing follow-ups on people/businesses they've talked to and such at CES....so just because CES is over, doesn't mean they won't be really busy for a while still.

yea a dealer in car audio told me that they are going to make like 5000 and 10000 watt amps and are going to have some serious labeling on these amps as far as danger cause they are able to produce so much power, the amps will have to be professionally installed due to the risk he said. He said pretty much everybody going to start making them but he was speaking more of kicker, cant wait to see this

as for kicker for us SPL guys there releasing 2 new amps 5,000.1

5000watts @ 4 ohm rms @ 12.5 volt

class D close to 86.xx efficiency

Strapable

stable down to .25 ohm

non-regulated power supply

and i forget the special kicker name for it but it has some power supply that will still produce 5,000.1 @ 4ohms even with you STOCK Alt.... (i was told that from the canadian kicker reps)

and the 10,000.1

10,000watts @ 4 ohm rms @ 12.5 volt

I just can't see an afforable 5-10K watt amp.. Specially at 4 Ohms and that can dip to .25ohms...

I'm very interested in these...

the big amps will not be released this year, with all the new stuff we have coming out, they were pushed back til '07.
