Whats it worth?

So.. Im in highschool, looking to get rid of my first car to buy something new. I've got a 1991 acura integra LS. I paid 1200 for it about a year and a half, two years ago or so. I don't have any pictures right now, because im at school, but I can post later. I've been googling prices for the car to get an idea, but some people are selling just stock ones for around 2000.. I don't know if anyone around would even pay that much.

My car is a 91, has 207k miles on it. I've done some work to it, replaced some things. The interior is great. Clean seats, no scratches, a couple of stains on the carpet, which I might be able to get out. Other than a small tear on the back of one of the seats, it looks good. The paint on the outside of the car is the problem. The top of the car, hood ect the clear coat is coming off pretty bad. The sides are fine. My exhaust has a hole in it, from rust over time. And about a 10 inch Crack on the drive side of the windshield. Other than that. The car runs good, and is decent. Yes it's a standard.

What i've done to the car:

New tires - $400

New Starter - $200

New Window Motor - $50

New Brakes/Calipers - $100

New shoes/boots - $100

New Radio - $100

New Door speakers - about $130

I believe thats pretty much it. I paid 1200 for the car, plus all of this. I know the new things i've added doesn't make the car value go that much up. But in your opinion, what would you pay for the car?

Im hoping to sell my car, and i've got a 2007 Cr 125, it looks beautiful, been extremely taken care of, pretty much gotten out of racing and will sell that soon, probably wont take anything less than $1,600 for it. Would like a bit more though. With that money i'd like to get a newer vehicle, yes I am going to be getting a small loan, i've already talked to my local bank.

what motor does it have in it? not sure if the ls came with the zc or b-16a but if it is the vtec b16 then some guys will pay around 800 just for the motor and ******.

sounds like a good bit of problems with a pretty old car with a **** ton of miles on it..you'll be lucky to get your money back out of it at what you paid but I sorta doubt it... your probably looking at around $800ish.. the thing about adding some of the extra **** like stereos and stuff is that people dont usually care/want that stuff and sometimes it can actually lower the value of the car unless you can get someone whos into the same stuff as you.

What you've "done" to the car does not make the selling price go up. Those are things that are needed to be done to keep it running, except the speakers.

The only things that will make the selling price go up are new rims, paint job, upgrade engine parts, etc.

Do what most of us do:

either drive it to the ground and save your money,

or sell for the best you can get out of it and get a decent loan.
